Proud Working Mommy Announces its Official Launch
States its efforts to become a positive voice for working moms in Atlanta and around the United States. 

Atlanta, GA, March 23rd, 2009 –Amy Hornby, founder of Proud Working Mommy is convinced that now is the perfect time to launch her business. "Because of the state of our current economy, there will be more women in the workforce than men. Several women are going back to work to contribute to the financial needs of their families. It is the perfect opportunity to be a positive voice for these working moms who are trying to juggle family and career".  

Amy intends to spread her message with her current offering of positive message t-shirts for women and children. She has also worked in conjunction with her father to recently self-publish a children's book about a day in the life of a working mom. Amy's message is simple: "I want to remind moms that you can meet the needs of your family while maintaining a career. And you can do it without the guilt!"

So far, Proud Working Mommy has acquired a local following through word of mouth marketing and its web presence. Local North Fulton mom Holly Monaghan states, "As a working mom in Dunwoody, I often feel as though I am the only mother that works. I was thrilled to learn about Amy's Proud Working Mommy website because it is exactly the motivation that I need. Knowing that there are so many other working mothers out there juggling the same hectic life as I am gives me the encouragement to be the best mother and employee".

Amy hopes that her entrepreneurial launch of Proud Working Mommy will land the attention of the media and press, thus enabling her positive message to be spread to women whom it can benefit.  "There is so much negative talk on the news with our current economy,” she says.  “More than ever families need encouragement to help in these tough times. I hope my story and message can be uplifting for moms everywhere".
